HSS HALL OF FAME

 Timmy Turner local surfer, family owns Sugar Shack, surfed for HB High School and produced surf movies biggest one being Second Thoughts was inducted in the Surfer's Hall of Fame.  He is an awesome friend, husband, father of five (his daughter Keely is on our soccer team this year) and was so honored to be a part of this.

TIHOTI

My best friend Titania lost her twin brother Tihoti last month.  He lived in Vegas and there was a funeral there in June.  This month we had a graveside service here in California followed by a beautiful dinner with family and friends.  I have known Titania and her brother since I was 5 years old and my heart breaks for my dear friends.  Tihoti smile, silliness and kindness will be carried on by his awesome four children and his amazing sister.

I love my friend Titania.  My heart hurts for her.  She said take a picture of me and my brother.  Even though that makes me cry I am so thankful we both have the knowledge and the faith that we will see our love ones again.

SAN ELIJO

 I could live at San Elijo, love camping and spending time here.  Spooners had a week in July so Layne and I joined them for 4 days.  Brett and Christian came down too but with work schedules had to go back and forth some days.

4TH OF JULY!!!

 We rode our bikes to the parade.  From there Christian road to work the day shift.  After we swam at home, went to the neighbors for a BBQ and then did fireworks back in our neighborhood.  Grateful for our freedom and our country.

SUMMER IS HERE...

Summer is here and that means beach, camping, friends, family and surfing of course!

 Spooners were camping at San Elijo so we joined them for a day of fun and surf.

Lunch Break- Layne & Maggie

It has been a fun and crazy 7 weeks of softball.  We literally played 7 days a week.  Practice Monday-Thursday and then 5 weekends of tournaments.  On top of that I was the team mom and wow was I busy.  We won our first tournament in Oceanside.  The girls played hard, the parents were fun and helpful and most importantly the girls had fun playing ball and making new friendships.  Layne pitched some games, caught some fly balls in the outfit, and had some great hits.  It was fun and exhausting experience.  Hopefully we will get to do it again!
